All submitted manuscripts at the first step are handeled by the editorial office. Section Editors provide oversight for manuscripts submitted to their section with Associate Editors acting as handling editors. Only those papers that seem most likely to meet our editorial criteria are sent for formal review. Those papers judged by the editors to be of insufficient general interest or otherwise inappropriate are rejected promptly without external review (although these decisions may be based on informal advice from field experts).
In the second step manuscripts are sent for formal review. Albus Scientia uses a transparent and neutral peer review system. Reviewer's selection is critical to the publication process and we choose qualified independent reviewers from available database, or alternatively honors authors to suggest suitable independent field related reviewers with no potential conflicts of interest but the editor's decision on the choice of referees is final.
All contributions submitted to Albus Scientia selected for peer review are sent to at least two, but usually three or more, independent reviewers, selected by the editors. Acceptance /decisions on manuscripts is solely made on the recommendation of the Editor-in-Chief in the light of peer-review reports.
The authors can propose the neutral reviewers/referees from a different institute, who are neither current collaborators of the author/co-authors nor have published with any of the author/co-authors of the manuscript within the last five years.
The contact information may please be provided in the following format;
